Re: Call to undefined function

Anyone know why I would be getting an error in the code? The error says 'Call to undefined function filesInDir() That's a method, not a function. You can call it within the class with $this->filesInDir() or outside the class (after loading the model) with $this->model_catalog_download->filesInDir().

Re: Extension sought to hide admin menu options

I'll try to find some time to get the conversion and testing done in the next week or two.

Re: Extension sought to hide admin menu options

What 2.x version are you using? I ported Admin Dashboard and Menu Control to 2.0.2.x but never released it. I've had a few other people ask about it so if there's interest I can look at getting it up over the weekend.

Re: CRITICAL BUG on 2.0.3.1 or Mis-Configuration ???

There's a bug where it's enabled when an ocMod is installed. You'll need to go into System -> Settings -> Edit -> Server then turn Maintenance Mode to off. This will need to be done after every ocMod install/refresh.

Re: How Safe Is Admin Passwords?

If you have the ability use password_hash(). I do. It's specifically designed to deal with current password breaking techniques. And as part of the PHP core it will receive automatic updates as more secure hashing methods are developed. The only good news with OpenCart's method is that it's not in p...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.3.0 Available Now

Guys, I know this might be a little off topic regarding last posts, but what do you think about OCmod vs vQmod? I am tired of support requests like - vqmod mods throwing invalid file type in Extension Installer. OR " I could not install it please help ". Poorly documented API breaks between release...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.3.0 Available Now

I'd be rather cautious about that project given one of the leads was thrown off both the Joomla and OpenCart marketplaces.

Re: I hate opencart 2.0.3 anyway to downgrade?

Your best bet would be to restore any backup you made before the upgrade. Otherwise you would have to manually rebuild the database to match 1.5.x.

Re: Apostrophe Bug

You can try following this:

https://support.godaddy.com/help/articl ... gic-quotes

I'd be surprised if a host was running a PHP version that old and didn't have magic quotes already disabled. Then again, it's GoDaddy.

Re: Extension Store Discussion & Feedback

@D3MO: It's not a question of browser, it's a bug i proposed correction but never corrected in extension shop which runs under an old version of OC. A Windows client is unable to upload. I signaled it many times but they don't care and now i'm tired. Chrome and IE should work on Windows. Still, the...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.3.0 Available Now

Just to note, while I and others are moderators on the forums, we're just as in the dark as the rest of you really. Totally understand what you're saying regarding the communication lacking tremendously. I'm also very disheartened at how 2.0 has gone personally, and its something I still tell peopl...

Re: Extension Store Discussion & Feedback

So the commission rate is going up 5% in June. Add that to paid advertising, licensing time limits, and new versions getting rushed out just to put some third-party service in the core. I have nothing against monetization but it would be nice if there was some work to improve the lives of store owne...

Re: [MOD] VQMod Manager

I really wish the extension store would stop people from using the same/similar name of other extensions. I'm sick and tired of creating something popular than having some other dev jumping on it.

I still think it's a pain manually refreshing the modification cache after each change but I'll add the note.
