HELP! How to add newline (\n) in ocMod file

i am trying to add

Code: Select all

  <add position="before">
    <![CDATA[
...
    $string = "\n";
...
    ]]>
</add>
but in modified files it will be

Code: Select all

    $string = "n";
Am I missing something? Could somebody help?

thanks god, somebody is alive :-) that's a problem: i was looking for year... and, now, using 1.5.6.4 and 2.* versions. but reporting bugs since 2.0.0.0 have not fixed some problems. Answer, always" "Issue is closed"... Next version - the same, Copy/paste: email, api, etc. Who needed ...

moderator, you deleted a link, but opencart has never had a (c) IN ITS CODE... these guys have it... D. is a creator (with low case) and he let somebody does that... i do not believe...

BTW, it's not bad... 1. removed openbay crap... 2. learned to use functions instead of copy/paste 3. use email 3td party "vendor"'s code 4. looks like a christmas tree... 5. same problem with big data... 6. no real support for multi stores/domains 7. build in vqmod !!! ? ... so same sh... ...

Could you guys to keep your override engine and vqmod compatible with the previous version?

For ex: Danial decided that ocmod does not need to support wild card (*) or parenthesis "{}" you could do it for *.vqmod.xml?

Okay, I'm listening and I care. Why do devs stick with OpenCart instead of another e-commerce? Because clients stick to OpenCart. ii can do something for my own two sites, but if i tell my client that opencart was a wrong choice for three his stores, i would have to look for another client :-( ... ...

make a pause... look around what other guys added (for free)... add to the core, stop using copy/paste to multiply bugs... and it will be good again. i have, personally, two production servers with 2.0.* (heavy modified) installed, but getting tired... OpenCart looks as gene pig for another project....

Daniel seems to live in his own world but, he is more Clue, not Creator... he put not bad MVC engine under the hood, but right now, there is no documentations about new features, he implement them for his own needs... Version 2.0 was promising... 2.0.1 - all we new was upside-down, 2.0.2 - oh my god...
