Re: Extension Developers Prepare for the Cloud!

1. You are not allowed to modify any DB tables. If you need to store any data for your extension you need to create a new table and use joins. Are we allowed to create indexes or the restrictions is for columns only? What I meant is: Are we allowed to create indexes on Opencart's default tables?

Re: Extension Developers Prepare for the Cloud!

Actually, creating twig-templates is harder, and for Opencart offers no major advantages. It's easy enough to add support for the PHP template engine to the OC frontend. It's not harder to create twig templates (you just have to get used to with twig), but I agree that twig doesn't offer any advant...

Re: OpenCart 3.0.0.0 Released

From my first tests, it looks like OC 3.0.0.0 is visible slower than OC 2.x.
I haven't had time to analyze it (maybe in the next days), but is it because of the twig?

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

Are there any extension developers that actually think Disqus is a good thing? I doubt it but if so why? It's obvious that disqus is not a long term solution for Opencart because besides the security concerns and the inflexibility for developers to moderate comments for their own extensions, it is ...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

I have over 200 clients who I usually refer to OpenCart for extensions and I've just emailed them all recommending that they don't purchase any until they can see the previous sales and comments. Please get this site sorted. Yes, previous comments and sales number should be a priority. And extensio...

Re: Official OpenCart Website Bug Reports

I've updated the bug list with some new fixes as well as some new reported issues. There are still some very serious issues outstanding. A couple more: Account > Manage Your Extensions * "Downloads" column is missing * Columns (Extension Name, Date Added, ...) are not sortable PS: How com...

Re: Changes to module search tags. Mod devs please READ!

Yes, a Sort by Sales (desc) is a good idea. It will help to find top sold extensions.
