Re: Checkout steps 4 and 5 joined

I don't know of something that can join the two steps together, but if you only have a single shipping and/or payment method, Hide Checkout Steps can hide the steps and process them in the background. It's useful for reducing the number of steps in the checkout, without having to use a custom checko...

Re: Using both free and weight based shipping

What you'd need to do is (1) enable Flat Rate for your UK geo zone, (2) enable Free Shipping for your UK geo zone with a Total setting of 30, and (3) set up Weight Based Shipping for all your international geo zones. You'd need to create those geo zones if they don't already exist. Note that this wi...

Re: How can i deduct coupon percentage from total amount?

Actually, it's not a wise decision and a bit illogical. Total is basically a sum of ALL order totals, including coupon. I'd recommend you to change the sort order of Coupon order total and set it right before Total. Your coupon will be applied exactly as you want and Total amount will be calculated...

Re: How can i hide "marketplace" from admin?

If you're using a recent OpenCart version, I believe it hides any areas where the user doesn't have access/modify permissions, so just remove the permissions to the "marketplace" areas in Users > User Groups. That should hide them for the appropriate user groups.

Re: Opencart as Bookstore

You *could* use those fields for other purposes, but they aren't displayed on the front-end in any way, so not only would you have to rename them all on the front-end (and possibly the back-end) you'd need to add a bunch of code to get them to display on the product page. Instead, what I'd suggest d...

Re: How can i deduct coupon percentage from total amount?

The built-in coupon system cannot do this, but Super Coupons can, as well as a bunch of other things. You'd set up your coupon, then just add a rule like this to it: Rule: Total Value = Total Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getcl...

Re: Filter by Pressing Enter in Admin?

Just wanted to note, my OpenCart Admin Improvements extension adds this functionality, as well as a bunch of other admin panel improvements. If you can't get the code snippets in this topic working for your particular OpenCart version, it might be an easier option.

Re: Coupon code and cart wont update

If you don't get any responses, that probably means no one has a solution to your issue. This specific problem isn't in a default OpenCart installation, so it's probably due to a custom extension or theme you've installed. My guess would be that you have a javascript error on that page, but it reall...

Re: Order Status

Order Status is assigned by the payment method that completes the order. You should change whatever payment method you're using (e.g. Free Checkout) and have it assign the 'Complete' status for the order. That way it should already be completed when the order is placed, so the customer can access th...

Re: Add shipping manually at cart end

A discount is just a negative fee, so you should ask the developers of the extensions you've seen for this, and see if they can give you a small code edit to allow for fees. It should work for adding the shipping cost like you want. Alternately, you could just add a $1 product to the store, and cust...

Re: Fix Authorize.Net to work with TLS 1.2?

If your web host properly turned off TLS 1.0 and 1.1 (and all SSL versions) then there's no other way for curl to connect than TLS 1.2. Most likely, your web host told you that 1.0 and 1.1 were turned off, but that didn't actually happening. Forcing the connection to TLS 1.2 is fine, but it's not th...

Re: Paypal Pro checkout not working testing the TLS 1.2 upgrade

TLS issues are NOT related to your OpenCart version, or even the payment gateway you're using. It's related to the SSL/TLS version your server uses for curl connections, which is something your web host controls. What you'll want to do is contact Hostgator and ask them to make TLS 1.2 the default fo...

Re: <b>Notice</b>: Undefined property: proxy::getdefaultseller in

Pretty sure "getdefaultseller" is not a standard OpenCart function. That means it's coming from a mod you've installed (maybe a multi-vendor extension?) so you should contact its developer for support. It's unlikely anyone here will know the solution for the issue.
