Like I said, I've tried that. All I can tell you is that it works perfectly when I hard code the path and it does not work for me with the defaults, that indicates to me that it has nothing to do with permissions.
Buy anyway, the important thing is that it's working. Thanks for your help.

That is one of the first things I tried.
Just to make sure, I just uploaded the original config.php and made sure the userfiles folder was set to 777; same issue as shown above. I can assure you that it does not work until I put the full path in the config.

Ok, I think I've resolved the issue. It was not permissions, but the paths set in /admin/view/javascript/ckfinder/config.php By default the following variable is set: $baseDir = resolveUrl('/image/userfiles/'); For some reason it appears that it was not resolving the rest of the path. Daniel, I think earlier I had already manually uploaded the image and I just happened to fix the link to the already existing file on my attempt after modifying the permissions.
