Re: My SSL is Working in Admin but not in frontend

Just check any Page Source in your Browser, and you'll find masses of http:// Links,
but since this is a Custom Theme, and you also use Custom Extensions, you will
have to check on everyone of them, what needs to be fixed.

Re: Page Load very Slow.

Well, this is more or less a 'default' like -installation, when it comes to the way it works. But on GTMETRIX, you will find out, what still needs to be done, to unleash the real power of OC. One should be able, to get it up to at least 85/85, or even better, but it takes a little time, to make it a...

Re: Page Load very Slow.

Well, calling a Doctor only makes no sense, if he's not able, to take a look. ???
So, better show a link to this Site, then, you might get some usable reply.

Re: Page Load very Slow.

Well, there is nothing to install, just upload the PHP File into the Shop ROOT
section, and execute it by calling it's file name. Then, you will see, which bottons
to press, to get the DB indexed, and eventually switched to InnoDB, if it's not
already working this way by default.

Re: Page Load very Slow.

Something like this could also be used, to fully index a DB, and eventually
change the default OC DB Engine to a faster one in OC Versions. ;)

Re: Multiple questions

Well Marc, I sure don't plan to make you feel bad, but this is not going to work as planned, because it would require a profound technical knowledge, to achieve, what you have in mind. But you don't seem to have this knowledge, and you won't get anyone, to find out for you, what it takes on Software...

Re: different color options

Well, you could try to find out, how OC works, to eventually create your own OPTIONS , to achieve such, by getting lots of Information here. It's mostly not yet about OC -3, but those OPTION-related Functions are very similar to older OC Versions as well, especially OC-2. https://forum.opencart.com/...

Re: Changing size of banner images?

Well, the only workable Solution I found on this, was, to make Parts of a Banner 'invisible' ;) but in order to avoid 2000+ pixel wide images, one might be forced, to 'box' a Theme into a MAX-WIDTH-set display. Otherways, such huge images will delay Loading time, and so reduce Site Tester Performanc...

Re: The page you requested cannot be found! OC 3

Well, I sure don't want to make you feel bad, but this Theme must be the worst piece of Code I have ever seen. 10'000 Lines of Header Code and Styles, there is just NO WAY for anyone, beeing able to find out anything, by looking at that piece of crab. I would therefore strongly advise you, to look a...

Strip parent categories from url to avoid duplication https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=27744 --- Well, the Code used is the same, in v.2 + v.3 Versions, only the SEARCH Path is a little different, it changed from: catalog/controller/seo_url.php in v.3...

Re: Required fields in checkout

Well, onby some links to free Downloads, where you can find some details on this, some are made for OC-2, but basically, it works the same. I am not sure at the moment, if some entries have a required Status also in the DB, where it would also have to changed. It's a long time, since I played around...

Re: Required fields in checkout

well, the difference between - to be or not to be required - is a simple word, called required ;) and you could simply make the Line HIDDEN, if you dont want it to be shown at all. I once experienced a similar case, where I could not get rid of it, but I don't 'recall' the solution momentarely ... :...

Re: Help with theme problem

Well, different PHP Versions might have a profound effect on such, but you would have
to clean out all of your cached File Content first, in any case, before re-testing something.
Just to have this mentioned too !

Re: SSL after the fact... ugh

Sure, by use of the Admin DB Backup Function, you can download the Database Content. And after you installed a new OpenCart, you could RESTORE the downloaded Database-Content into the new Shop DB. But it will NOT work on HTTPS only, as long as you use different Settings, by NOT following this advise...

Re: Clone site and DB to same provider

Well, instead of doing this the IMCOMPLETE way, since your Admin Function
does NOT fully download a working DB, better COPY the DB with your Server Admin
MyPHP DB Tool into another new DB, directly, and IN FULL !
