Re: different color options

Well, you could try to find out, how OC works, to eventually create your own OPTIONS , to achieve such, by getting lots of Information here. It's mostly not yet about OC -3, but those OPTION-related Functions are very similar to older OC Versions as well, especially OC-2. https://forum.opencart.com/...

Re: Changing size of banner images?

Well, the only workable Solution I found on this, was, to make Parts of a Banner 'invisible' ;) but in order to avoid 2000+ pixel wide images, one might be forced, to 'box' a Theme into a MAX-WIDTH-set display. Otherways, such huge images will delay Loading time, and so reduce Site Tester Performanc...

Re: The page you requested cannot be found! OC 3

Well, I sure don't want to make you feel bad, but this Theme must be the worst piece of Code I have ever seen. 10'000 Lines of Header Code and Styles, there is just NO WAY for anyone, beeing able to find out anything, by looking at that piece of crab. I would therefore strongly advise you, to look a...

Re: how do you remove category names from product urls

Strip parent categories from url to avoid duplication https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=27744 --- Well, the Code used is the same, in v.2 + v.3 Versions, only the SEARCH Path is a little different, it changed from: catalog/controller/seo_url.php in v.3...

Re: Required fields in checkout

Well, onby some links to free Downloads, where you can find some details on this, some are made for OC-2, but basically, it works the same. I am not sure at the moment, if some entries have a required Status also in the DB, where it would also have to changed. It's a long time, since I played around...

Re: Required fields in checkout

well, the difference between - to be or not to be required - is a simple word, called required ;) and you could simply make the Line HIDDEN, if you dont want it to be shown at all. I once experienced a similar case, where I could not get rid of it, but I don't 'recall' the solution momentarely ... :...

Re: Help with theme problem

Well, different PHP Versions might have a profound effect on such, but you would have
to clean out all of your cached File Content first, in any case, before re-testing something.
Just to have this mentioned too !

Re: SSL after the fact... ugh

Sure, by use of the Admin DB Backup Function, you can download the Database Content. And after you installed a new OpenCart, you could RESTORE the downloaded Database-Content into the new Shop DB. But it will NOT work on HTTPS only, as long as you use different Settings, by NOT following this advise...

Re: Clone site and DB to same provider

Well, instead of doing this the IMCOMPLETE way, since your Admin Function
does NOT fully download a working DB, better COPY the DB with your Server Admin
MyPHP DB Tool into another new DB, directly, and IN FULL !

Re: Help with theme problem

There must be a difference between those two Servers, either the PHP Version used, or then some difference in the Code and/or Mods. I can't think about anything else. But he may be on vacation, so, just hold on and wait a while ... ;) But I can't help with that serialize , it's beyond my technical k...

Re: ISSUE: Using http-like URLs for Products' images

Well, the good old OC standard way, to HTTP(S) - link images, would be, to define HTTP(S):// image Links, in one or both of your config.php Files, like: // HTTP define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.ejacob.ch/cart/'); define('HTTP_IMAGE', 'http://ejacob.ch/cart/image/'); // SUBDOMAIN-LIKE Link // HTTPS ...

Re: Difference between 3.0.2.X and 3.1.0.0 versions

Well, they gave up early, I assume, after realizing, that it's of no use, since not a single OC Installation looks the same as others ... Not to talk about the 'extended' Theme installs, like Journal/Pavo/e.t.c., making it virtually impossible, to even think about upgrading something existin...

Well, you could try to contact him here: http://www.viethemes.com/contact/ But since your Posting shows a lot of serialized -related Errors, wich is no longer 'standard' in later OC-Versions, as I believe to have been reading about, you might just use the wrong OC Version, or the wrong Extension for...

Re: Logo placement.

Good for you! I must have overlooked the other question, if you found them,
as it looks. :D And next time, better place a Site link, so, one could exactly tell
you, where to look in a Stylesheet and/or File.
Good Luck! ;)

Re: Logo placement.

Well, find something like the Code, shown below, in your theme stylesheet.css file, and change the MARGIN Values accordingly. ZERO-Values do NOT require to carry a PX (pixel), to be added, but if a setting has another Value, but 0 , it needs to look like 10 px And the setting for the sample below is...

Re: Experts recommendations

Well, you will not be able, to get this made with help of this place, if you're not an OC-Code 'Insider'. And nobody will do this for you, just for Fun, since this is a rather comprehensive Job to do. So, better look for a Professional, if you want to get such done. It will take some hours of hard w...
