hi, thanks for the repy. i understand it only takes data directly from the database.. lets say when a £20.00 product is added to the cart system, but then it's removed at the end from the cart and the order wasn't full filled then an "Unsuccessful order" shows up within my admin, but it so...

hi, yes this does show a message up on the check out page after they check out, and there they have to remove the product that shows over qty out of stock **** i would just like it to show that message or some message on the product page at the time of pressing the buy button, so the person stays on...

this was the first one that i tried out but i can't get it to work, it could possibly be my custom theme Pav styleshop template or their extension is just don't work correctly on v1.5.6.4

I would like to display a warning message to the users of the website if they enter a quantity which exceeds the available stock qty added by admin.

or anyone know a better way of doing it to stop adding to the cart, very great full

Sorry can't give you the link/ address as it's on a local pc running Wamp Server program for testing.
and the Live website, i already managed to edited the raw code just before you posted up a vqmod.. which seems ok

but it would have been nice to revert back the edited files and use a vqmod..

big thanks for all the help so far..

did a quick test of the updated VQmod, on a clean set-up with the pav template, No errors within the VQMod manager
but no change to the websites buttons at all ? so something isn't quite right.....the raw coding works ok.

hi, big thanks for the reply, but no luck so far. removing that coding, seems to only removes the button off the main product categories pages and no other place, it also makes the product go out off line, and resize the images ( pic's below before and after) plus the buy buttons also still show up ...
