Re: Opencart 3.0.2.0 doesnt work as it should be.

You screenshot looks fine, as does your live site. Just make sure to always use https protocol only. Set HTTP_SERVER in your 'config.php 'and 'admin/config.php' to start with 'https://'. And add a redirect from http to https to your '.htaccess' file.

Re: Mobile Layout

OC 2.3.0.2 already uses a responsive theme which should work on smaller mobile devices, too. You can use it as a starting point for making your theme.

Re: Unpredictable image Search in 3.0.2.0

It's a bad habit to use special characters or blanks in image file names for so many reasons. Only use a-z, A-Z, 1-9, '-' or '_' for image names.

Re: Theme Editor - Edit twg files - 403 Forbidden

You should not change the original template files at all. Rather, create your own theme folder, e.g. 'catalog/view/theme/my-theme'. Then in the OpenCart admin backend do 'Extensions > Extensions > Themes > Default Store Theme > edit > Theme Directory = my-theme'. Then, if you were to use a modified ...

Re: OpenCart Alpha 3.1.0.0 has been released

As expected in an early alpha or beta release, OpenCart 3.1.0.0 still has various bugs. The ones I reported are all to do with Twig issues: Twig ignoring template variables added by view/*/before events Twig has no working auto-refresh Twig doesn't accept changes from view/*/before events My suggest...

Re: Stres with openCart and extensions

This illustrates that OpenCart needs a more robust and simpler install system for 3rd party extensions, the typical multi-step installation procedure for an extension is too user-unfriendly. Another problem is the lack of proper vetting of extensions on the OpenCart marketplace. OpenCart itself uses...

Re: Theme Editor - Edit twg files - 403 Forbidden

I strongly advise against the usage of the theme editor. It will most likely cause conflicts with OCmod or VQmod based modifications for the same template, e.g. bypassing the latter. It's better to use your own web theme. You need to need to store modified template files in your own catalog/view/the...

Re: HTTPS and SEO URLs not playing nice togeter

The SEO URLs work just fine on a standard OpenCart 2.x. Hence something else must be responsible for causing problems. It could be an issue with the Journal2 theme because the latter is highly incompatible with OpenCart standards and is known to cause clashes with many 3rd party extensions. To narro...

Re: cookies free domain

Really do not understand what you want?? What has a cookie with the performance to do? I think he refers to this: https://www.keycdn.com/support/how-to-use-cookie-free-domains In the case of OpenCart there is nothing much you can do to improve performance when it comes to the usage of cookies. Site...

Re: Opencart v3.0.3.1 cannot add or change images

Adding or removing images works just fine on OpenCart 3.0.3.x. Hence you must have done something else leading to your problem. Unfortunately nobody seems to be able to reproduce your error unless you can provide further details of what exactly exactly you did to get this error. For s start, tell us...

Re: 3.0.3.x Issues and Bugs

As reported here, VQMod does not work with the latest version: https://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&p=743780#p743780 Beside this: since 2.x some similiar like VQMod is already included in the core: OCMod So there is really no need to install an additoinal tool which does primary the same! ...

footertop.tpl is not a default opencart file ??
The OP hasn't told us the whole story here. Nobody can help here without further details. The error is alsmost certainly caused by a 3rd party extension, not OpenCart.

Re: [SOLVED] Adding products VQMOD error

The Integrated VQmod is just a modified OCmod which allows VQmod XML syntax in addition to OCmod XML. And if it detects QPhoria's VQmod then it delegates VQmod XML on to the latter. Having said that: XML-based modifications will always be a horror story, and are a far cry from proper IT design patte...

Re: OpenCart Alpha 3.1.0.0 has been released

there is any 3.1.0.0 stable version release date? :/ waiting for it half of the year . You could have used 3.0.2.0 and run an online shop with that one. Honestly, there won't be major new features in 3.1.0.0. And some issues, like the broken event triggers, won't be solved either. Third party exten...
