Looking at the code the CURLOPT_POST option is correctly set.

PayPal Changes: API convert from GET to POST

Need help with this one. File location is ../catalog/controller/payment/pp_pro.php It would appear that it is using the GET NVP method which PayPal will block in a few weeks. Can someone help me confirm that this? if (!$this->config->get('pp_pro_test')) { $curl = curl_init('https://api-3t.paypal.com...

Re: Paypal changes.

..... Can anyone tell if the catalog/controller/extension/payment/pp_pro.php file is using GET requests? I'm not an expert in coding but I do see the word "GET" as well as "POST" in the code. If that file is using "GET" requests, then it probably should be changed to "POST" by June 30, 2017. But I'...

Re: I think I have a problem with a bot.

Well, the problem is probably in <file name="catalog/controller/account/register.php"> Can't find: $data['button_upload'] = $this->language->get('button_upload'); Probably needs to be changed to: $this->data['button_continue'] = $this->language->get('button_continue'); There appears to be other chan...

Re: I think I have a problem with a bot.

it certainly did the trick for me... stopped the bot registrations cold dead in their tracks.... hopefully this will last :-) I too was wondering the significance of them creating these bogus accounts... they can't log in until I approve the new user, so they only create the account.. nothing more....

Re: Stay, Upgrade or Move on????

- It lacks the same SEO compared to oc - it extreme server hungry - has a high complicated learning curve - if you want modifications they are expensive. I'm curious as to why you think OC has better SEO capabilities. Is it that this are better extensions that help with SEO? Or the "SEO keyword"? O...

I'm a business owner and I haven't looked at version 3, because it is the latest! I did however looked at version 2.+ (the one I'm currently using), only after several months of its release so that everybody working on it (extensions and bug fixes) did managed to catch up. This topic has been beate...

Re: Stay, Upgrade or Move on????

Well, there is an old saying, never change a winning horse....... Good Luck! ;) Ernie Thank you Ernie for the thoughtful reply. To me, the big problem with Opencart is the business model. There are many things I like about Opencart like the unlimited-ness and the multistore, but there many things I...

Re: Which OpenCart version is most stable?

Business owners like myself look to version 3 to be this latest and greatest cart software to compete with the likes of Shopify and Wix. But by the sound of it, it's primary goal is to not bring awesome features to market but to bring in revenue via extensions. I have posted regarding what cart soft...

Re: PayPal Payflow Pro - Setup Problems

HTH, My problem was only that the code in file catalog/controller/payment/pp_pro_pf.php contained the wrong URL path to PayFlow to process the payment. I don't really have any other major problem; however, I'm just slightly concerned that not having the PayFlow setup done correctly that I'm either m...

Re: PayPal Payflow Pro - Setup Problems

I had this problem originally too, but you have to put in the URL for your checkout "Success" page in PayPal manager. Otherwise, the transaction will still go through but it will just stay on the checkout page for customer, no redirect. PayPal manager (manager.paypal.com) > Service Settings > Hoste...

Re: Gift Voucher problem 1.5.6

So the PayPal payment module has the option to become active for order totals above a certain amount, can anyone provide an edit to the "Free Shipping" module so that it becomes active for orders under a certain amount (like less than 10 cents)?

Re: Bad Customer Email Domain Causes Order Confirmation to F

Thanks Ernie. This will help. I will see if it is compatible with my current extensions. I'm curious if anyone else with 1.5.6.4 can replicate this error. Note, that for "In Store" payments (such as cash or check) it will go to the confirmation page (but no emails sent), but for credit card payments...
