Re: Package Tracking Service

I am able to install and configure the settings and template. However, when I try to save the order history I get " Warning: You do not have permission to access the API!". Also, what do I need to do to make the email that the customer receives, the entry on the order history that the admin sees and...

Re: Running two versions?

Hi Ernie Thank you for responding. Not sure I fully understand your response. I do understand that by moving to the latest version, really it's starting from scratch. Yes, I'd like to be able to import our current products, customers, orders, etc, into the new system and would need to find tools or ...

Running two versions?

We're way back on 1.5.3.1. If I download and install the latest version of Opencart in a separate folder on our server, can I be confident that the install process will not touch any current functions, and won't overlay or affect any of our current database tables? Any advice for upgrading from 1.5....

Re: PayPal Security Changes and OpenCart PayPal Extensions

In studying this further, I have come to the realization that this is about the SSL certificate that is used on one's site rather than the Opencart or site code. They are just saying that the 'referring' certificate (i.e. the SSL certificate in place on your site) must meet SHA-256 standards. I woul...

Re: PayPal Security Changes and OpenCart PayPal Extensions

grandaddy, that kind of echoes my testing findings with the Sandbox.

Paypal standard worked, but I got an error with "Paypal Website Payments Pro", if that is the same as "Paypal Pro" that you reference.

Re: PayPal Security Changes and OpenCart PayPal Extensions

I'm not sure why no one else seems concerned about this. Isn't this impacting all Opencart Paypal sites?

Re: PayPal Security Changes and OpenCart PayPal Extensions

Yeah, I'm just not prepared to upgrade to 2.0 at the moment. On 1.5.3.1.

Hoping for some guidance!

Re: PayPal Security Changes and OpenCart PayPal Extensions

Doing a test order in the live environment is not going to test the pending changes that they are rolling out over the next few months.

Re: PayPal Security Changes and OpenCart PayPal Extensions

We use Paypal Website Payments Pro and it also does not seem to work with the sandbox.

Not sure why more folks aren't concerned?

Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro Help Please

I think the Sandbox doesn't work because of the upcoming changes https://ppmts.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1236 There is another thread about this somewhere. Opencart doesnt seem to work with these changes for Paypal Website Payments Pro. Not sure why more people aren't concerned about this...

Re: [RELEASED] Dependent Options

Hello,

A couple of questions:

Does this work with custom theme Fortuna from ThemeForest?

Also, what does this mean "If you use option price adjustments it might take some special work."

If I have an option that has a cost associated with it, does that not work?

Canonical URL formatted with invalid quote - don't know how

Hi I noticed that my canonical links are formatted oddly with a different type of quote where the canonical is inserted, and this is causing the whole string to look like a link rather than just the href. I have looked through all of my VQMOD XMLs and can't figure it out. Can anyone point me to wher...

Re: Performance Issues with Order Database Table

I'll ignore the snarky comments and assure you this is running on a private, custom service using Mysql and plenty of RAM.

I was able to identify that it was indeed an extension causing the problem. Had the developer make an adjustment to remove a now-unnecessary feature and we're back to speedy!

Performance Issues with Order Database Table

I have 1,312 records in my 'Order' table.

I seem to have load time issues on Sales > Orders. The rest of the system seems fine.

Have anyone else experienced such a problem? Any suggestions?

I'm running 1.5.3.1.

Only ship to one country but allow more payment countries?

Hi

I only ship within the United States, but, I have a customer who wants to use a credit card with a billing address outside the US.

It seems this is not possible. Is this correct?

Thanks
