Re: How to set product page default to (NAME A - Z)

Many thanks for the fast response.

I've emptied the sort order field (leaving it blank) when adding the product and this seems to have sorted the problem.

Many thanks!

How to set product page default to (NAME A - Z)

Hi there, I have just set up my webshop using OC 3.0.2.0. When I add a new product in, I find that instead of that product being added to the page in alphabetical order, it is in fact added to the end of the page. The way around this is to manually set the Sort By drop down to (NAME A - Z). The newl...

Re: Unable to upload mod theme OC 3.0

Well in one respect the issue of not being able to open the file as it were is now resolved by following the quickstart installation.
I didn't need to upload the large file.
But it was a workaround rather than a fix so yes - you are correct in that.

Purely unintentional if so....

Re: Unable to upload mod theme OC 3.0

So far any luck winter? Hi there - very sorry for the late response. I just missed your post - apologies. No - I had no luck. What I did was a fresh install of OC in AMPSS using the template installation instructions and unpacking the quickstart zip file that came with the template. I then just wen...

Re: Unable to upload mod theme OC 3.0

Hi there,

Thanks again for responding.

upload_max_filesize in php.ini is currently set to 999M.

Should that increase to 99999M .... ?

I'm assuming that that's 999mb?

Thanks

Unable to upload mod theme OC 3.0

Hi there, I am currently working in AMPSS local host and building a new OC store. When I tried to upload a new theme, I get the following message:- "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data OK <br /> <b>Warning</b>: POST Content-Length of 9443485 bytes exceed...

Re: What should the sql database entry begin with in OC 3.0?

Thanks for the response.

I knew that this was generated on install but I am working in AMPSS and was looking at possible import from info from my old OC 2.O store.

Cheers

What should the sql database entry begin with in OC 3.0?

Hi there, I am just starting to build a new site using OC 3.0 and I am wondering should there be a specific sql database entry sequence. For example, in earlier versions of OC, the database entries began with oc_ .... but I think that the entry for OC 3 is differnet. I am asking with regards to impo...

Re: Customers experiencing log in problems. Email and password not recognised.

So switching back to the default template and then back again to my theme template appears to have cleared the issue ...for now???

Re: Customers experiencing log in problems. Email and password not recognised.

I think there may be two issues here.

The email not being recognised appears to be an OC problem, rather than the template problem. :(

Re: (RESOLVED) Configuring files for SSL

Thanks for your help artcore. Did you check the link for the categories? Its trying to load the page but if you scroll down you just see a tiny band of activity at the top of the page. All non-formatted junk basically. Base href is btw? I'm also leaning towards a new theme as this one is only good f...

Re: (RESOLVED) Configuring files for SSL

Goedemorgen! Yes the theme is a bit slow. Having just spent shed loads of time on it I'm loathe to change to a new one just yet. From the categories menu if you select Genre>Ambient it doesn't load the page up. https://www.winter-light.nl/store/Genre/Ambient It was doing this fine until I changed th...

Re: (RESOLVED) Configuring files for SSL

I was hoping this was totally solved but after successfully completing the SSL codes some of the sub categories no longer display from the categories menu below the main header menu.

New thread?

Re: Configuring files for SSL

Hi everyone, A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread. I had done the basics in the config files and .htaccess but in the end it came down to having to change the code in the system/library/url.php This is where the problem lies with version 2.2, so now it is (hopefully) solved...

Re: Configuring files for SSL

Thanks for the response sculptex. It would seem that there is a bug also in 2.2 which does not make the version fully SSL compatible. I have seen a link for a workaround but will try to sort out the .htaccess file first. My update to 2.3 did not work so a little frustrating to say the least. Theme i...
