Re: Many to Many

I need a many to many relationship between Manufacturers to categories and I need to be able to map an individual product to many manufacturers I've read this thread several times, and am not seeing quite what you're looking for. How about backing up a bit and restating, with simple examples, just ...

Re: Many to Many

Thanks for your reply - yes I would be a serious customer ... looking for a serious developer - haven't found one that gives you what you want but instead gives you what they think you want - an extension isn't going to work and despite you saying that I haven't answered questions - the fact remains...

Re: Many to Many

Surely there is a serious developer and database expert out there that has the expertise to tackle this (very obvious to me, of course) requirement. Why Opencart developers can't see the need for this is really beyond me - it's a serious flaw in my view - nearly every brand out there for any product...

Re: Many to Many

If your interested take a look at Smartstore or Nopcommerce - They both have Manufacturer Mapping and Category Mapping

This means that you can have multiple manufacturers per product which is what I am after

Try with 1.5.6.4 or 2.3.0.2.
But I think you should use the lastest opencart version. Ofcourse, on 3.0.2.0 is not really good now. Maybe wait to 3.1
Another lamb to the slaughter - have you tried to actually use any of the versions your suggesting in a real world scenario?

Opencart versions

Can anybody honestly tell me this .... is there an actual stable version of opencart that is actually usable? - the only version I have found that you could say you can truly use is 1.5.6x - if you know better please tell me .... Opencart is such an unfinished product .... big sigh of disappointment

Re: add to cart

The first one is
"This mod takes you to the shopping cart when you add a product to the cart.
* Adds the product to the cart and redirects you to the shopping cart."

I want to go to the product page not the shopping cart

The second one works but loses the CSS detail
