Re: Amazon EC2 deployment of OpenCart

Some update from my end.. I finally deployed OpenCart 1.5.1 into Amazon EC2. I shared the web root using the NFS so that my new launched web instances can share the web root. The only directories I kept local to the web instances were the cache and log directories. A short summary of the deployment...

Re: How to increase website loading speed.

Well, you better move on to a decent hoster, if that's all, what they have to offer! It would not be faster with any other Version, the contrary would be the case, since responsive layouts require more code to be 'handled'. Re: How to increase website loading speed.

Without a direct link to your website is will be difficult to pinpoint where your site needs optimizing in order to get great load times. oc 1.5 can be blazing fast. looking at the screenshot posted, biggest gain will come from adding browser caching and optimzing images Also optimzing your databas...

Hit F12 on your keyboard to activate the developers kit. Then, you will see the console tab. It really has error. :choke: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/chas0pmGZydz2vuTLYSvfl9DPFJq8rbLcMgVXNRBngO2BXD6kR8oAYNzrCZm8FlqJicXhubZEzE7dHPSkVDcJ37Vu69jyVT5dSnxzSreXPhdVtx2rQ0bIlg3zAFC1xpBByREzNe7oxd5mYs...

Thanks. How can I center the product name, price and add to cart button of the products I put in this module?

Also, how can I create new Featured modules, so that each module shows different products?
Admin end -> extension -> module install anything you like.

Re: Photos, banner modules, back end menus missing after migration

It has nothing to do with a pirated version or not ... it may simply be caused by .htaccess or an installed extension. I would, however, suggest to use the developers kit and see in the console tab for any error messages. You mean the default .htaccess has problem? This file appears neither in root...

Re: Photos, banner modules, back end menus missing after migration

Well, if your RESTORE was made by the regular built-in OC Admin functions, it would not have added the CREATE TABLE `oc_ Code to the downloaded DB-Copy, and if you then try to restore it to a virgin DB, it would not work. Just in case... ;) Ernie The backup was restored to a shared server through c...

Re: Photos, banner modules, back end menus missing after migration

If your backup file do contain the image files in the image/data path and your current folders do not contain files inside the image/data, then yes - something went wrong during the transfer or during the extraction. As for the banner module: admin - > extensions - > extensions - > banner - > edit ...
