Re: restrict user access to listed products

Thanks for recommending us!

Yup, MultiMerch is designed for OpenCart 2.3 only, for 3.x you'll need something like Purpletree ;)

Re: MultiMerch is the best Multi-Vendor software you can find on Opencart marketplace

Good review. For the price they ask, they must be a nice developer and support team, to stay in the market. So it is good to hear that some developer is able to justify the cost of their software by providing a good quality product and support! We basically consider MultiMerch an all-in-one marketp...

Re: MultiMerch is the best Multi-Vendor software you can find on Opencart marketplace

Thanks, Rayan! Appreciate the feedback ;)

"Recently purchased" is OpenCart's own page, so can't blame MultiMerch here!

Seriously, though, responsiveness is something we'll be specifically working on as part of the early 2019 releases – as well as the API for mobile apps.

Re: Wrong Email sent to customers.

Hey Rayan, The new invoicing architecture in MultiMerch 8.21 automatically generates tax-compliant invoices for all transactions within the marketplace – including platform invoices to customers. Paired with the notification system, it also notifies the parties when a new invoice is created. However...

Re: OpenCart 3.0.2.0 Released

I think that providing support (via bug fix releases) at least to the last stable version would be a good trade-off. Users can wait for new features, but they can not wait for bug fixes. Currently, OC development (at least what I can see in the official github repo) is mixing new feature commits an...

Re: The quantity of products won't decrease upon purchase.

Do you set the value of Subtract to "yes" when publishing a product? This is OpenCart's default feature, nothing MultiMerch-specific. Doesn't depend on MultiMerch's order status configuration, either - only on OC statuses (when the order status is changed to Processing or Completed). The whole thing...

Re: The quantity of products won't decrease upon purchase.

Hey Rayan,

Might want to check the "Subtract Stock" field. This is OC's default field that controls whether or not making an order subtracts from the available product quantity. Digital MM products have it disabled by default.

Re: OpenCart Alpha 3.1.0.0 has been released

Added Bootstrap 4 Font Awesome 5 Jquery 3.3.1 Ability to have search engine index pages in multiple languages. Added ckeditor back Template code can now be edited before it processed using lamba functions. All URL's generated in the catalog controller files now have language= appended to them. SEO ...

Re: Product sorting function isn't working

Yeah, to disable an xml file you have to change its extension to e.g. .xml_, then clear all vqmod cache files just in case (vqmod/*, mods.cache and checked.cache). We've narrowed it down to one particular category template modification related to MultiMerch filters which stays on even when the filte...

Re: Product sorting function isn't working

Hey Rayan,

We've been investigating this recently – could you disable MultiMerch's multimerch_core.xml file and let me know if this makes a difference?

Martin

Re: OpenCart 3.0.2.0 Released

Yeah, stuff's actually happening on GH – that's great. I just can't get my head around the fact that there hasn't been an official bugfix release of 3.0.x for a year now, considering the fixes are all available. Especially since when 3.1 comes out it will be a major one, again – with a whole set of ...

Re: Recommended PHP version for Version 2.3.0.2

We've been using 2.3.0.2 + PHP 7.2 as our default development environment here at MultiMerch with no issues so far. Good to see OC 3.1 ditch 5.4, too – no reason to support a version that ancient. I personally think 3.1 and higher need to ditch all 5.x versions. EOL for 5.6 security support is the ...

Re: Reasons to choose OpenCart!

Right, it's mostly the simplicity and the affordability that make OpenCart a decent choice. Gonna quote my Quora answer earlier this year: I consider these the main advantages of OpenCart: - simple, straight forward architecture – seriously, what can be more simple than plain MVC - relatively cheap ...

Re: OpenCart 3.0.2.0 Released

@affect: Can you tell us, what is BS3 / BS4? Yep, OpenCart's migrating to the newer Bootstrap 4, which is quite a bit of work: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/migration/ There's also Twig1 > Twig2 switch so there's that: https://github.com/opencart/opencart/commit/c705bc46fc48922c3154b6f07f1ae9a5...

Not even release rumors around, so I guess not. Especially since it's a BS3 > BS4 migration that's underway.

Re: VQMOD msmail EmailTemplate class not found

Martin at MultiMerch here. Which version of MultiMerch and OpenCart are you using exactly? If it's one of our older unsupported MultiMerch 7's from 2015, I'd strongly recommend you sign up for one of our current MultiMerch 8 versions, which are in constant development (if it's the case, please let m...

Re: Get error message in admin panel

Martin from MultiMerch here. Looks like OpenCart 1.x. MultiMerch for OpenCart 1.x has been discontinued for 3 years now so I'm surprised you actually managed to find it somewhere and it does work at all. The bug is most likely caused by a missing order comment field and can be fixed by adding an iss...

Re: Multimerch Conversations

This function is called via ajax, so it needs to return the value as a $json array instead of simply outputting it. If you're displaying a new error message, you need to initialize the $json['errors'] array and return it via setOutput in the same way we do it by default: $json['errors'][] = $this->l...
