Re: Why so much spam?

That still leaves us with the problem that a potential spammer may register, posts a genuine message, gets approved, and then some days later starts posting hundreds of spam messages. This is where we humans get involved again. We regulars are the ones who can spot a gratuitous reply with no real c...

Re: Forum Search Feature

Instead of search results are you getting a comment like, " paypal logo image are common words which have been ignored for this search"? That is my frustration. I believe that one of the moderators or admins should go through this list of "common words" and remove those words tha...

Re: What about special product price for a given quantity?

I don't know of any core feature or extension that will expire a special price based upon quantity sold, as your requirement indicates. What you could do, though, is create a copy of your product, price it at the special price, limit its inventory to 20 pieces, and mark it as a featured product. You...

Re: Best plugin for credit cards searched

The stipulation is that you may not store the entirety of the information in such a manner that an interloper could reconstruct the pieces into a useful whole. The split of information stored in the store's database when using Q's extension satisfies this requirement. The customer's name and address...

Re: Order moderation

It may not be the best way, but one of my customers uses Q's Offline Credit Card extension to this end. Since all orders are Pending until the credit card is manually processed, this gives the store operator a chance to make corrections (and get them approved by the customer) prior to putting the ch...

Re: OpenCart hits the big time :)

In my Japan location I get 100Mbps/100Mbps for about US$65 per month. If I needed more, I could get 1Gbps/1Gbps for $400 per month. These rates are available to the more than 85% of the country within about 20km of the nearest phone company CO, without regard to which ISP a customer chooses. This is...

Re: free shipping for purchases over one price

thanks, but anyone free? This is getting to be a broken record with you, sir. When a respected fellow forum member tells you that a particular extension is the way to solve your problem, that is the answer you should accept. If you wish to search for a less expensive solution to your problem, one t...

Re: Limit product availability/price to specific geo zones?

I would bet that this store has no sales outside the EU. Why would anybody pay a shopkeeper 20% extra profit on top of overseas shipping charges just for being outside the EU? That's a terrific way to alienate potential customers, both large and small. p.s. The Search button is your friend. There ar...

Re: 1.5.1.1 Multistore - customer cannot buy at both stores?

This is true. There is only one customer database, which means that a customer who registers at any one of your stores can shop at any one he chooses. However, there is also only one session manager, which means that shopping in one store must be completed before shopping at another store can begin....

Re: All price values £0 on store front

Well, you didn't follow the advice in "BEFORE YOU POST," which reminds you to tell your version number and to include a link to the store. Otherwise, it's like ringing up your doctor and saying, "Doc, it hurts here." One generic thing you might look at is in currency conversion. ...

Re: Password Help

It would have been much better if you had asked your question in the thread you quoted, where cognizant people are already watching, than to start a whole new thread on the same topic. Why not contribute your observations there, where there is already a group familiar with your problem?

Re: Personalised Login Welcome Message

Is there any place to see this extension in action? The description in the OpenCart store indicates that there may be a grammatical error (missing comma), but there is no apparent way to confirm this.

Re: Admin asking for customer password to update cust profil

You should be able to reassign a particular customer to a different Customer Group by changing the Custome...
