I've completed the same steps as outlined here, to add payment method to the dispatch note, but mine has CHANGED the shipping method to payment method, instead of ADDING payment method. Re: Opencart 3.0.2.0 Not Submitting Total to PayPal
This is the same issue I've been having since late August, on Opencart 2.2.0.0 but I've had no reply to my bug notification post.
PayPal stated it was an issue with Opencart not sending the data across, but this makes sense if theyre no longer accepting certain data.
How can we fix this?

It sounds like the same issues I was having. I can highly recommend purchasing the forced SSL from the extensions page as the money more than quickly covered the time I wasted trying to sort this issue out. Once installed, if you're still having issues, just message the creator, and they sort it out...
