Google keeps indexing my SSL pages, a fix for it.

I have no idea why but Google has decided to index the SSL version of my shop's home page as well as some of the other SSL pages like account, cart, etc. Additionally, my shop is in a subfolder, and for some reason Google is even indexing the SSL version of some of my other pages that are outside of...

Did you install OpenCart in a subdirectory?

If so then it would be

http://www.your-website-address.com/subdirectory/admin

Of course I hope you are replacing what I'm writing above with your actual website address and directory. :)

Re: Progress Towards 1.5.0

This whole page is full of complaints! Be a man and just be straight and say it straight. Oh, I'm not complaining by the way, I'm just summarizing! ;) Read my friend, read... ;) Anyway you took my post the wrong way, I'm not complaining that 1.5 isn't out yet... I honestly don't care when 1.5 comes...

Well, considering there is only a day and a half left in December and there have already been 3 times Daniel has said the cart would be out on such and such date without it actually ever showing up..... Let's see if some magic happens. I could totally see a big banner on the OpenCart site that says...

Re: [MODS] - Customer Groups 1.4.9.1

Hi HTMLCSSNoob, The only modification to Admin are to the Contact (Email) form; there are no changes that would have any effect on the Customer Edit form. I know for sure that several members use the mod without problem. Your error suggests a problem with the default (postal) address not being set ...

Re: Progress Towards 1.5.0

I'm really surprised by how un-professional some of the response have been here. Isn't ecommerce a type of business? Don't you want to create good will so that people might stop by and by one of your extensions that you are hawking? NO! Seriously though, If you were the president of a compa...

After I installed the newsletter part of this mod, I got an error when going into customer edit in the admin panel. The error is: Notice: Undefined index: default in /home/mywebsite/public_html/admin/view/template/sale/customer_form.tpl on line 168 I know it's this mod because I narrowed it down dir...

Re: for permission

Admin --> System --> Users --> User Groups.

Go there and create new user groups that have whatever permissions you want to give them. Then go in, create a new user, and assign them to that user group.

Re: Progress Towards 1.5.0

I would consider it flattering that people get antsy over when 1.5 will be released and vent it out on the forums. I mean it's better then no one giving a damn, as that would mean no one cares about the cart (a.k.a. it's about to fail). I'm sure Daniel is working hard on getting the cart just right,...

Re: Progress Towards 1.5.0

8.) The ability to change the title of the page (so it doesn't have to be the name of the category) IF SEO are as bad as you say, then yes, those points would be good to fix. 7 and 8 are easy enough to fix on your own. So how would you change the title of the page exactly? I've wondered this myself...

Pretty good list. Would be nice to see these things implemented in future releases of OpenCart as I really have no desire to migrate everything over to Magento.

Re: Multiple Order notification e-mail

this is not opencarts fault. you must have done somethign to cause this. Well that's definitely the way to garner more support for your open source project, don't give people any useable advice and instead make them feel stupid as if they f**ked up the cart somehow. Not saying the op didn't f**k up...

I'm not saying that I wouldn't like to see opencart project run a little more structured, but I do not want to see it go strictly business which seems to be the only way you guys think. I have been around opensource projects that are run by greedy people who are only after making money, and it is n...

Re: Opinions on how projects should be run

Without quoting everyone into oblivion, I'd have to say that I agree with SapporoGuy's opinion when it comes to running OpenCart more like a business than like an open source hobby project. What's wrong with running it like a business? Granted I am one of those "business minded" people tha...
