Re: Help with upgrade site and repair VQmod error

Simply upload the latest vqmod version, and run the installer - http://vqmod.com . There's a video on how to install on the vqmod installation page. It will take a couple of minutes and fix this for you

Re: vQmod 2.X development and feature request discussion thr

Yeah, my way is more complicated but more adaptable, as you could use it for more than just version checking. The way I've described you would be able to make any constant a condition of an operation

Re: vQmod 2.X development and feature request discussion thr

Sorry, I don't get notifications for this thread any more for some reason. We have discussed both the "if" tag and adding version checking. The first can be added quite easily. The second we need to go about a little more carefully. VQMod is designed for more than just opencart, and so we have to ac...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

as for the re-uploading of each extension when you change things. This is required for the cloud. I need to approve the extension download before its allowed to be on the cloud stores. If people can change the file after its been approved its going to cause issues. So every bug fix means I need to ...

Re: New opencart web site - bugs

Can you fix it so that you don't need a license length when submitting mods for update? Not all developers limit to 1 - 12 months. Would be nice if the Browse next to files to upload wasn't disabled either by default, making people delete and re-make a download for each update

Re: Need developer with an account on Freelancer.com

To be honest you'll be lucky to find a good developer that uses freelancer. Most of us professionals wouldn't entertain it, especially considering you've not mentioned where you are from, what your budget is and specifics of your tasks. Also, if you need a developer and want one from a specific regi...

Re: Updates to Extension Store Notification Emails

You've stumbled across the wrong thread for that really, this is for notifications when a customer purchases an extension from the extension store itself (for developers) not for OpenCart store e-mails for your own store

@GraemeH - That's not true

@herischarles - that would actually cause some major issues with things like payment gateway callbacks and some forms being submitted

Re: Customers automatically logged in as a different custome

Strange. I've only ever seen that where you have two stores where people can log in. What sort of third party extensions/modifications if any have you installed?

Re: WANTED - Experienced OpenCart Facilities Coder/Developer

Yeah, as I said, I know developers are just as able to screw you over that way. I've been the victim as both developer and customer in the past and it's never nice in either situation. Being the pessimist I am, people pursuing a tender on a small job like this suggests they're more desperate for wor...

Re: WANTED - Experienced OpenCart Facilities Coder/Developer

Surely the fairest way would be to simply pay a developer for the work - giving them a deposit up front for their time if its a big job and the full payment on completion. Obviously if the developer isn't competent then you'd get a refund - or should from those of us who are professionals. "Token pa...

Re: WANTED - Experienced OpenCart Facilities Coder/Developer

So basically you're offering to underpay someone to do a large project, potentially paying them if your site is a success? I never get tired of seeing the rewording of these And why not?? Developing some and selling that to a high price is one. Participating on the success where you play a role is ...
