@theKortek, reinstalling the extension have done the trick. Thanks a lot for solving this weird problem. But do you know why this is happening with 2.3.X.X ? Is this a bug with the user permission or something else.

I assume you have OC 2.3. In this case permission denied error is pretty much normal, because 2.3 is completely broken in terms of backward compatibility. Try to install OpenCart 2.3 Compatibility Fixes extension from this page . It will add missing compatibility code to your store and you should f...
