Re: How to check database corruption?

I'd guess that it is related to the seo urls.
I've seen something like this in the past, and its when you enter the same seo url for multiple products/categories.
Clearly the link shows "http://yourdomain.com/linkA", but there are 79 pages all called "linkA" so the system can't handle that.

Re: Multi stores with multi domains

labeshops wrote:http://allwicca.com goes correctly to the all wicca store BUT http://www.allwicca.com is going to the labeshops.com/shop store instead of the allwicca one.

Re: Multi stores with multi domains

You don't need to make any additional copies of opencart, just 1 copy works. even if you have domainA.com & domainB.com the principle is the same, "point" both domains to the same folder within your hosting. Then opencart does the rest. When you set up a category or product you can then enable that ...

Re: Serving Images From Different URL

This question has been asked several times in the forums, and i've never seen a direct answer.
I understand that it was designed this way.... but i don't fully see why there can't be an option.

Re: Backup from Ver. 1.2

when you say 1.2, do you mean opencart from back in 2009? It sounds like its going to be a pain. You'll need to research the upgrade steps from 1.2 to 1.3 to 1.4 etc etc It'll take quite a while, and at the end of the process it mightn't even work properly. Possibly a better route (but more complex)...

Re: Multi stores with multi domains

The short version is: create 2 demo sub domains subA.domain.com subB.domain.com and "point" both sub domains to the same folder on your web host. i.e. public_html/shop Install opencart to the first sub domain and then go through the admin and add an extra store. So you'll have Shop1 subA.domain.com ...

Re: UK Web Hosting

Hi everyone,
I finally found some hosting, and have now become a reseller.
I can offer a managed web hosting account for beginners through to advanced.
Rates are reasonably cheap, and I'll happily install the most recent version for all subscriptions.
